The RH Rooftop Restaurant is located above RH Hardware in Edina, MN. The RH Hardware Stores are located throughout the US and Canada. This is not the type of hardware store that I have been in! This store is very elegant full of high end furniture. The restaurant is on the top floor (it is a rooftop restaurant!). At first look it was very bright and exotic with a large water fountain in the middle, multiple chandeliers, trees and greenery.
We were seated next to the large fountain which seemed fun at first, but got annoying as the night progressed. Our table was to close to the fountain and the constant sound of water became very loud and I found myself talking louder to be heard. My husband got a little wet from the spray of the fountain. The trees and shrubs were artificial and took away from the view outside. All I could see from my seat were the shrubs. The trees blocked out the view of the sky because they draped across the top.
The menu was fairly common – For the Table (Appetizers), Salads, Mains and Sides. We started with an appetizer- Prosciutto and Delice Board. The bread and grapes were really good. I had the salmon and a side of the Broccolini. The salmon was okay and the broccolini was fair- stems were a little tough. My husband ordered the RH Burger and it came with fries which was also just okay. All of the food was fair.

The service was okay but a little slow. However, one of the Servers gave me a pair of sunglasses to borrow because I had left mine in the car. I really appreciated it because the the sun was setting when we arrived. The prices are fairly moderate to high ranging from $13.00-$44.00. Overall we rated it a 5 out of 10. The food and service was fair, but I was really disappointed with the atmosphere and view which was the main reason why I wanted to try this restaurant.
